Uggghhh. I didn't know that they took a break between lunch and dinner, so I arrived right after it closed for lunch and 3 hours before it opened for dinner. "Do I walk an hour home and take a nap and shower, come back later? Or do I sit around here for 3 hours?" Oh, I dillydallied around the neighborhood for 3 hours.
Here is Le Resto Bar Sourdine, owned and operated by Deaf people where business is conducted entirely in LSF (Langue de signes Francais)

They weren't open when I got there, and I was in desperate need of somewhere to sit and hydrate, so I decided ice cream was une bonne idee
I finished up the ice cream date with myself and took a walk. I wanted to find a park in the neighborhood, and a park in the neighborhood I found! I sat there and had a lovely conversation with this woman (she doesn't speak any English, so I couldn't cheat my way out of a French conversation. I THANK HER)

I've traveled about half the city par pied in the past two days. These dogs are barking.
After the park, I went back to the restaurant, believing it would open around 7 pm. I sat outside until 8 and no one showed up. Hokay, time to walk back home. Better luck next time. I picked up a quarter of a watermelon on the way for dinner. C'etait tres bien.
Et demain, I will meet up with Elizabeth and Katie for a visit around Le Louvre et Les Jardins Tuilieries in the afternoon and a Deaf Social at Ze Baar in the evening.

It would be so hard for me to get used to places that open whenever they want! I am so excited by your life. :)
